What began with just due diligence and site surveys for a handful of locations soon grew into a full rollout program: Interplan completed 111 new stores in just two years. From architecture to MEP and permitting, Interplan managed every phase of the project process.
Our Chicago office played a pivotal role in the rapid rollout of these new locations. With projects spread across the region, our local presence allowed us to perform site visits quickly, respond to field issues in real time, and, in many cases, reduce permitting timelines by several weeks.
Even when retrofitting former optometry offices with unfamiliar equipment, our team adapted quickly and kept progress on track. At times juggling up to 15 stores simultaneously, Interplan proved to be the consistent, capable partner Shopko needed to bring their vision to life.
