We help our clients do their job with ease.
Dollar Tree and their preferred developers partnered with Interplan to bring new Dollar Tree locations to life with projects built on speed, consistency, and efficiency. Acting as the architect and engineer for the landlord, our team was responsible for designing shell buildings that met the developer’s financial goals while fully accommodating Dollar Tree’s strict tenant standards.
What began as collaboration with our civil engineering group quickly evolved into a full-service partnership where our architecture, engineering, and permitting teams worked seamlessly together to keep each project moving forward with clarity and purpose.
Most sites utilized pre-engineered metal building systems, chosen for their efficiency and reliability. Interplan refined each prototype to fit local site conditions, adjusting façades, finishes, and materials to satisfy city design guidelines while preserving the recognizable Dollar Tree identity. In some markets, that meant introducing CMU or brick accents or adapting color palettes to align with regional standards.
Throughout every project, our civil, architectural, and MEP teams stayed in sync, ensuring fast turnaround, consistent quality, and a smooth path from design to construction.
When speed and experience come together.
Developers relied on Interplan to balance efficiency with adaptability. Our team navigated unique tenant standards, local codes, and municipal requirements, all while keeping schedules on track and budgets in line. Every solution was practical. Every detail intentional.
By understanding our clients’ priorities and becoming an extension of their teams, Interplan helped deliver spaces that were simple, efficient, and built to last. This partnership proved that great design can move with the same momentum as retail itself.
