Sylvia NassifAssociate Principal

Born and raised in Cairo, Egypt, Sylvia Nassif brings nearly two decades of technical expertise, leadership, and steady presence to Interplan’s MEP Engineering team. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the American University in Cairo, Sylvia moved to Florida in 2007 and joined Interplan that same year as a junior designer, her first role out of college. Over the past 18 years, she has grown alongside the company, building a career defined by curiosity, persistence, and a deep commitment to learning.

Now serving as Associate Principal of MEP Engineering, Sylvia is passionate about supporting her team through mentorship, collaboration, and technical excellence. She is known for leading by example and creating an environment where engineers feel supported, confident, and empowered to do their best work. Her focus is not only on delivering high quality engineering solutions, but also on ensuring the department continues to evolve in step with Interplan’s growth.

Sylvia approaches her work with intention and care, believing that strong relationships are just as important as strong results. She is committed to building connections that strengthen teams, elevate collaboration, and make the process as rewarding as the outcome.
