Born and bred on the vibrant Southside of Chicago, Joe merged his Windy City roots with a robust education from the University of Illinois, securing not only a Bachelor’s degree but also a Master’s in both Architecture and Business Administration. The real world sharpened his academic prowess; construction sites and trailers, side by side with contractors, became his true classroom. A man of many hats, Joe embraced a seven-year role as a hands-on dad, reigning in chaos and nurturing his son and daughter.
In the heart of his home, the kitchen, Joe concocts both mouthwatering meals and exquisite cocktails with a flair that’s hard to rival. The open road often calls his name, leading to adventurous family road trips. From iconic landmarks like the National Parks and Falling Water House to quirky spots like the Spam Museum, Joe’s driving passion enriches his family’s tapestry of memories. A die-hard White Sox and Bears supporter, Joe brings to Interplan a tireless quest for efficiency, an enthusiasm for mentoring the next generation, and, notably, an unmatched coffee consumption record. As Joe often quips, “A good day starts with a blueprint and a freshly brewed cup.”
