When the need for speed is critical
What started as just a simple inquiry from a storage facility developer (SAFStor) back in 2019 inquiring if Interplan might be able to help streamline their design and permitting process, quickly developed into a thriving ongoing partnership with over 50 new sites and counting!
SAFStor had previously been designing and building their storage facilities primarily through a design/build method with a national general contractor. However, they saw the benefit of utilizing our firm to shift the focus into a more typical design/bid/build process which allowed for better control on the upfront design and permitting process.
Currently we have a dedicated in-house team on the account that consists of team members for Due Diligence and Permitting, Architecture, and MEP Engineering. This has allowed our client the ability to gain more speed to market, as well as more overall control and consistency in the design and permitting process.
Relationships Matter.
The details of how this SAFStor partnership began was an honor for Interplan because it was a previous client relationship who we had worked with for several years previously…. and they were now wanting our trusted support yet again in their newest role overseeing development at SAFStor.
