VetIQ Nationwide Expansion Case Study

PetIQ, through its VIP Petcare brand, set out on an ambitious mission. They wanted to make preventive veterinary care affordable, convenient, and accessible to families in communities nationwide. How would they do it? By meeting pet parents right where they already shop, bringing clinics into trusted retailers like Walmart and Meijer.

To achieve this vision, VetIQ needed a partner who could match their speed, flexibility, and reliability on a national scale.

Our Role in PetIQ's Growth

Interplan was a natural fit. With experience rolling out hundreds of retail locations, we knew what it meant to deliver consistent results at scale. We developed full design and engineering packages in as little as seven days, supporting as many as five new projects per week.


Our integrated team handled architecture, MEP engineering, permitting, and project management under one roof, removing delays and ensuring precision.

Each site presented unique challenges, from creating exterior access points to engineering pet specific ventilation systems. Our team worked side by side to design solutions that balanced speed with quality.

In under two years, Interplan helped VetIQ open 155 clinics across 41 states, averaging just 1,000 square feet per location. The results speak for themselves.
